Japanese govt further supports private sector, Japanese investment in Laos

VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/ANN) – The Japanese government has approved a new Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) project through the Laos-Japan Human Resource Development Institute (LJI) to support development of the private sector and Japanese investments in Laos.

The new project for Capacity Development of Business Professionals and Networking through LJI was signed last week in Vientiane between Vice President of the National University of Laos (NUOL), Assoc. Prof. Dr Phout Simmalavong, and Chief Representative, JICA Laos Office, Mr Yoshiharu Yoneyama during the 9th JCC meeting for Capacity Building for Supporting Private Sector Development and Japanese Investment in Laos project.
